Dear Blackledge Country Club family,

We here at Blackledge, like I’m sure all of you, have been following the current COVID-19 crisis closely.  While the situation seems to be ever changing we want to assure all of you that we are taking every step possible to keep our golf course open and keep it as safe as possible for both you, the customer and our staff.  The following steps are being taken toward this goal:

  • Increased cleaning frequency of all common and high traffic areas including the pro shop, registration desk and building entrance doors.

  • Sanitization of commonly touched surfaces such as door handles, restroom fixtures, handrails, entry doors and hardware.

  • Golf cart seats and steering wheels sanitized with a bleach solution after each use.

  • Employees are instructed to wash hands frequently and to stay home if they feel ill.

  • Ball washers, bunker rakes and coolers have been removed from the course.

  • Cups have been raised above the putting surface, so that any putt that hits the cup is considered “good” and so that there is no need to handle the flagstick.

We also ask our customers to take appropriate precautions.   We ask everyone to be mindful of the CDC guidelines regarding social distancing when checking in, to stay home if they feel ill at all, and to practice proper hygiene and hand washing.

We will remain to follow any developments and suggestions by the CDC in how to combat this virus so that we can keep our golf course open and continue to provide our customers with a safe recreational outlet.
